9/11 AFTERMATH

9/11 a black date in the history of humanity when terror had its full dirty face open to swallow human lives with mass destruction. A ploy whose seed was grounded by the Super power in early 90’s when they deployed their troops into the peaceful Middle East for their greedy oil run. They wanted to control the entire world economy under them but some people don’t quite agree with their intent and started paying back them in big way, you can name many but the most vigilant one; actually not vigilant but only ground zero now World Trade Center. Today we can introspect sitting in our air-conditioned offices as who actually is responsible for this tragedy, how many of you would say one specific group of militants but give it a second thought are they the only one responsible? I don’t think so. They had just become the source of millions of lives who were being under the scrutiny of the blind run of the world’s biggest power to become the world icon. Dictatorship had a new face for the sake of world peace, mass destruction in the Middle East name it Iraq, Sudan or anything it was vigilant to everyone but as a silent spectator world was watching the super power conquering everything they were looking for until they had been struck back by the rebels name them Jihady or anything but they were there to make it listen to the entire world in full volume and didn’t they succeed.

I am not a person who supports either these Jihadies or to the world super power but I am a common man who wants some answer which I am sure no one of these would be able to give. In this blind power game who suffered, the innocent lives which were lost there had not even started their day properly and without any warning they were grounded forever. Is this justified? I don’t think so. What will happen even if the main accuse of this massacre are captured and being punished. They have already given a new face for the terrorism; let them be fighting for any cause but aren’t they freedom fighter, fighting for their communal stature, although I can never justify or convince most on this but it’s a fact. Terror has now become a big threat to humanity; recently we have witnessed some other pages of it name them the 7/11 blast in Mumbai or the failed ploy of blowing planes making them flying coffins for globe travelers but the message is clear, 9/11 has given a silent promotion to these activities and they are spreading their wings now in full. There can be only one way out from here: more human tragedies either side of war front. No war had happy ending and this will surely never because believe it or not this is a war against humanity where we will always be at the losing side.

Silently I am also adjusting to the fact that it can happen someday that I may also be one of the victim of this war of power and we all will have to convince for it. Being in the global industry the zeal of exponential growth always pushes one to strive more and more towards the unconventional way and knowingly or unknowingly we are also a part of this power game, aren’t we? Let’s not blame anyone for this and pay our tribute to those who have lost their life on this day five years back and pray for peace in the world.

Lage Raho Munna Bhai- Review

Right in the beginning of the year we had a movie using Bhagat Singh’s ideology “Violence” to make someone listen to them; here comes the flip side, giving the age old satyagrah a new avtaar called “GandhiGiri” but still the common factor remains the same :both touched the hearts and made you to listen what they wanted to say. Brilliant, outstanding and deserve a round of applause for sure.

Having heard reviews from many I was already set to keep my review as topical as possible and was not expecting a tear breaker from Munna bhai but I must confess few times I had almost got them out of my eyes specially when Munna says sorry to circuit an outstanding chemistry between these two. One would say best pair of lifetime are Hema-Dharam or Kajol-Shahrukh but I would say Circuit-Munna.

The lead character of the movie “Mahatma Gandhi” breaks all the rules for a film maker. It doesn’t require a reel life character to fantasize the audience and let them act likewise what we see just after Krrish was released but a true real life hero can always comeback with his lessons to teach who have forgotten the corrects provided by him. How delicately this legend has been used in the movie one must see. Revolving around his ecstasy and ideology Munna finds a new wave for the life. An eye to eye will make the world blind, almost all the mantra provided to us from Mahatma have been implemented in the movie and you would sit captivated without giving them notice and when you come out they will start revolving in your mind, this is the power of movie and sure is a class act. The leading actor Dilip Prabhavalkar who plays Mahatma lives up to the great man. People say that due to the chemical reaction in the body you see what you think of most, same is the case with Munna here when he reads lot on Mahatma to impress his girl but here he ends up being a SatyaGrahi fighting for the right using truth and non-violence. The most unique feature of film is to show the illness of the society, I don’t know who has put thought for Mahatma here but must be a big time Mahatma Ideology follower; the act of non-violence speaks in vigilant on the remedies provided by Mahatma through Munna. All of them can be practically implemented.

Dilip Prabhavalkar not most of you would know him but he is an intense marathi theater and movie actor and as always delivers best of his performance. Please don’ take me otherwise but when Ben Kingsley played Mahatma I thought no one can match him but Dilip surely sits together with him on the same place. Munna bhai alias Sanjay Datt gives another classic act from his bag though he looks lot older now but what to do? no one in this film industry can be Munna bhai except him .
My pick of the movie is circuit, I mean one must say that if Amjaz Khan was know as Gabbar then Arshad Warsi as circuit will remain in the hearts of the audience forever. I can bet on this. The timing, acting, emotion, drama, comedy, dance and the way he says sorry all are just one time in a life. I don’t think he can repeat him self ever with this perfection. Bomen was an underdog in the movie, his role was too weak in front of class act put forward by Mahatma,Munna and circuit although he lives up to the expectation and little for his bag from my side but get appreciation. Vidya Balan was looking nice, fresh and charming but hard luck, like her last flick here she had nothing to act for here. May be next time. Rest all cast was up to the mark….songs were good and situational so doesn’t break the rhythm of the movie. I liked “Hua kya” song the most. Highly recommended if you haven’t seen and if you have already seen then I don’t need to ask you to see it again like me.

Below is a one liner for the movie that hit me first time I started writing this review:

Question: How would I sum up Lage Raho Munna Bhai
Answer: My Experiments With Truth!

P.S. Can I give this movie 11/10?
